I must commend you for wanting to improve. We're all at some stage, trying to get to the next level, haha. Keep it up, and if you want some tips, I'm happy to offer what I've learned. That's not an underhanded way to say your art hurts my eyes, haha, but it's hard to arrange tips for someone into one response, and after only seeing one work. I just know what it's like to want to improve, and I feel for anyone who seeks it. A desire for betterment deserves an answer. You won't see much of my traditional art on here, but it's the medium I got a good grip on first.
yeah i would like ato get into some other forms of drawing, such as digital. but i currently dont have the means to progress, i need some school for sure. cuase i do not have my own computer or programs to acutally even try to fiddle with any of this other cool sstuff. like color. but i believe i currently have a problem with how fast i draw. i would like to take a long time on a pic but most my stuff i do i get down in around a hour or two. so if i could strive for a lil more perfection that would be awesome, but what i really need to get a grasp of is angles and anatomy. i always want a comic book look but cant acheive it cause i dont know how things should look from a sweet flashy angel. like camera looking up from ur feet. but thanks
I would love to do a comic someday too, and you're right, angles anatomy, and next resources for settings and the lay of a scene, are the most important, I think. At first I was using posemaniacs. But you should really try DAZ studio. It's free. Get the model set up how you want, get an angle you like, and then just hint the "print screen" button on your keyboard, paste to paint, cut out the "window" you want to use. Granted, learning how to use a ruler to give a scene perspective is valuable too, and you'll want to practice freehanding as much as possible so you still develop your skills.
